Biggers Inn

We have stayed here several times, never been disappointed. Always clean, friendly hosts, great restaurant especially on Friday night. Breakfast is simple but good ,choice of eggs or pancakes with bacon and toast or biscuit. Summer the pool is open, I was saddened on our last visit as the hot tub is no longer there.

This might be one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever incurred that being said I have been here in years past, and the food and service were great. This was a group of 10 of us on a Friday night and the restaurant was busy. It was taking 15 to 20 minutes just to get a drink out of the bar. The waitress didn’t provide waters for everybody initially but she was friendly. Just overwhelmed with being busy. We ordered the ribeye steak special at $38 which came with two sides and a salad. When the food started arriving, our medium, rare steaks were well done and looked like they had been pressed on the grill. The mashed potatoes were cold. We had a good experience with the restaurant. The portions are very generous, the salad fresh, the filet delish. The cozy dining room overlooks the river and we enjoyed the sunset from our table. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. We had a bottle of Kendall Jackson wine but I couldn't help noticing other diners' yummy looking drinks. I would recommend this restaurant, and we will be back when we want to enjoy a pleasant experience with a good view.

I had my 75th birthday dinner there last week. When we got there, we were told that half the things on the menu were not available their oven didn’t work and their freezer went out there was supposed to be a live band that night, but they have had a boating accident and weren’t there everyone that ordered steaks thought they were very good I had chicken fried chicken, but it was not chicken fried chicken. It was a patty coated in some kind of seasoning. It was like eating a frozen chicken patty out of your freezer. Needless to say, we were a group of nine and we will not be going back there

This review is for the inn. Room overlooking the river was really cozy and clean. Staff were nice and helpful (although I didn't really see them at all). The breakfast available was only protein shakes,red bull, and some frozen biscuits- they don't do hot breakfast during the week FYI. Only other downside was I didn't see a way for the guest lock the room from the outside. Would recommend.
