HarbourView Inn

We booked here at our friend’s recommendation and didn’t give it much thought when booking. We were so impressed with our entire stay. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and professional. The room was clean and tastefully decorated. Bed was comfortable and sound machine was an extra bonus. Complimentary room service breakfast was awesome, and while we didn’t get to try, the happy hour and turn-down milk and cookies were nice offerings. It was nice to be away from King Street but walkable to everything we needed. Valet parking was also convenient and fast. We will return!

We absolutely loved this hotel! Rooms are very spacious, clean and well appointed; great water view, bed is very comfortable. Breakfast was delivered every morning and was delicious! The location is ideal and is great for walking to shopping, parks and restaurants. The staff was amazing! They host a Happy Hour daily and milk and cookies at bedtime. We will definitely return the next time we are in town!

The breakfast offered a fantastic variety of fresh, tasty options, and the coffee was excellent. From the moment you pull up to the hotel everyone just so friendly and helpful. The free continental breakfast will be served to you in your room if you prefer and it was on time each day. Great location to walk to restaurants, shops and historic sites. At night the rooms are so quiet, I couldn’t hear anything and they have a sound machine beside the bed that added the finishing touch. The beds and pillows were so comfortable and provided much needed rest and relaxation. The rooms are spotless with a great rainfall shower. We will definitely be back to enjoy another weekend there. We stayed at the HarbourView Inn last week while visiting Charleston. This hotel is in a fabulous location for exploring the city with plenty of excellent restaurants within walking distance. My husband is somewhat disabled so I asked for a handicap accessible room. The room was very well laid out - there is a desk, a small table, a small refrigerator, safe and a credenza which holds the TV. The only issue with this room (room 213) is it sits behind the elevator so the noise from that elevator (which is old) is constant. There is no view from this room either. I am not sure if this is the only handicap accessible room they have but I would definitely ask them about this.
