Happy Holiday Motel

Went years back. I wasn't interested in spending 100 for a room so I took the cheaper option and I was very pleased. I read newer reviews and I hear there isn't a tv in some rooms, well I had one when I went years ago but idk if we watched it. Most of the time TV is considered back ground noise at this point. My experience was good. I think I used an app and saved even more money if I remember correctly. I'm leaving 5 stars across the board. I'm not bougie, and I don't need extreme stuff when I stay at a hotel. Clean room and bedding is mandatory and they met that need. I was looking thru the pics I've shared on Google and seen I had this motel tagged in the photos but I never did a review and I noticed the reviews were low and I was like, how? I booked this property solely on the pictures online. It looked great for a weekend stay.||||I arrived and those pictures couldn't be farther from the truth.||||Check in is advertised as 2:00 PM. At 2:30 I was told my room was not ready yet and to just come back later. 4:00 comes and I call the hotel. I was placed on hold for 30 minutes until I walked back to the hotel office. The lady at the desk said the room was still unavailable and they moved me to another room.||||The room reeked of bleach, had some sort of taggings on the inside of the door, had a rusty refrigerator (inside and out), and the microwave was so dented I thought someone had thrown it off the balcony.||||Then, later that night I found a large cockroach in the room. VERY SKETCHY PLACE! The room stunk so bad, was not clean, hair in the shower that was not my own. Shower was nasty. The lady in the office was very nice tho. They don’t lock the doors after each guest leaves. The doors are very hard to close. Bed bugs! And there are stains in the beds. How close it is to the beach is not worth the stay here.

I honestly had a nice stay, my only issue was the bedsheets. Our room did have stained sheets but I wasn't going to make a fuss about it. My husband and I were able to Check in early which we were so thankful for. I loved the location, kind of in the middle of everything and the beach was about a 5 minute walk.The lady working up front was nice and didn't give us any problems whatsoever. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

This is the worst room I’ve ever stayed in. First, couldn’t check-in at 2pm, as we were supposed to be able to, due to the room not being ready. Went for a walk, literally to kill time and wait, came back, room still isn’t ready and it’s 3pm. I was informed by the lady at the front desk that the people that rented it previously still had not left. Sat on the steps of the business, waiting. Our room was ready at about 4pm. Upon entry, the comforters on the beds have stains. There is no telephone. The smoke detector is disconnected (it’s sitting on top of the refrigerator). The door to our room is not sealed, even in the least. You can see outside where the door sits on the hinges and at the bottom when the door shuts. The microwave isn’t clean, neither is the bathtub/shower. Bathtub also do
