Happy Camper RV Park

So I would have given this RV park 5 stars were it not because when I went earlier in the year it was just changing management and while the guys were very nice it was a mess to check in. No internet to process my payment, not a mention that the water pump (while it appeared heated) was not working (frozen) so there was no water. I hope they have remedied many of these issues as I do plan another trip and thought they were very nice.

The maintenance guy thinks he is the law. He blocks the road regularly with his vehicle and apparently thinks everyone can just wait until he is done having conversations. If you tell him to move he retaliates by claiming you are the one that is in the wrong.

I had planned to tent camp but left my tent behind. The maintenance worker Sandy assisted me by making a tent with my tarp. She used the picnic table and my vehicle. The area was gorgeous- a creek is there by the campground. It was just me and my dog, 1 parrot and 1 duck. We had a great time and I want to go back next year. Next time we will go in an RV. Thank you Sandy for making our trip a memorable one!

Easy to get to. Be aware that If traveling East bound. Slow down enough to make a U-Turn to enter the property. Just passing through and it was an economical option for an overnight stay.

This was a very well maintained park. The grounds were always clean and all of the facilities were very clean. Randy the manager was always accessible and out and about in the park. Would definitely stay there again.
