Hanson Hills Campground

Due to an unfortunate Taco Bell experience, we arrived late to camp so it was almost dark when we got there. Fortunately, the host had us follow her to our site so we didn't have to search for it in the dark. I highly recommend purchasing wood here if you're planning on a campfire. My SO loves to build big fires and so we went ahead and purchased a half bucket of firewood for $20 thinking if we had any left over, we could use the rest at our next campsite the following night. We were not expecting to get enough firewood for three nights, but that's pretty much what we got! Even better, I believe the wood was hickory. Lots of long term vacationers. 1.5 mile dirt road from freeway. $36 for one night. Long, flat gravel site. FHU. Lots of trees. Lady at on phone and at office was very nice. T-Mobile got 5G and four bars. Definitely stay here again.

Tucked into the hilly woods, this CG is a gem. Lots of long term campers. A couple miles of rattly dirt road to get there. They have a pool and a c-store. The pond looked pretty as we left. Big rig friendly. Call ahead.

Hanson Hills Campground I have never felt so unwanted and segregated in my life. This campground is clearly about who you know. We are not from the area or even the same state so we were not with the in crowd. They were more than happy to take our reservation and money, and when we arrived, we saw a very cute camp office and store. We traveled past nice clean grassy campsites and according to their site they have activities and amenities. When we checked in, we were given nothing, no information, map, directions nothing but we were told to follow the lady in the golf cart it is a large turn to get into the site. We followed all the way through the campground past the nice open sites, a pool and playgrounds for her to come to another road and she stopped in the middle of the road as soon as

Hanson Hills Campground is truly the best campground I've stayed at in over 30 years. Owners/management are kind, caring, welcoming and willing to help in any way possible to accommodate your stay. HHC is quiet, spacious, clean, up to date, pet friendly, wifi works great throughout the grounds. If you stay then you will definitely be back... I could go on and on. A+ rating from us
