Hampton Inn Sulphur/Lake Charles Area

This was the third Hampton Inn we stayed at on our Thanksgiving road trip. We chose this hotel due to its location and proximity to our route. We found the parking lot to be well lit and fenced off from the highway, so our vehicle felt secure. The inside of the hotel was well decorated and clean and the staff was friendly. The room was quiet, which I always appreciate. The room itself needed some improvement. The towels were scratchy and needed to be replaced. Breakfast was good, but not quite as good as the other Hampton Inn locations we'd stayed at recently. Overall, it was great for the quick stop over we needed to finish our trip.

I've stayed at the Hampton Inn over 8 years ago. Since then, they have updated the entrance and lobby area. The room was pleasant. It fit my needs. It was clean and supplied with appropriate bath towels. The breakfast was on point every morning. I had a variety of choices from hot items to cold. Items. The staff was wonderful. My room key was not working. I went down to the front desk several times to get a replacement card. Finally the young lady went to my room and figured out that the battery inside of my door was dead and needed to be replaced. There is accessible parking and entrance.

I found myself needing a place to stay on a last minute notice. Actually, the hospital's security person recommended this hotel for being clean and safe ( a little over a mile from the hospital). The night manager was wonderful. I slept so well that I missed breakfast.

All the staff at this location are truly amazing people. I traveled with my mother to meet up with family she has not seen in years as well as family she was recently united with for the first time in her life at the age of 78. They provided support in getting us a comodations that supported her abilities, and they were kind and compassionate. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and fresh made. They were supportive of us and gave us direction to amazing places to eat. If we drive back through, this is the place we will stay. Thank you to everyone that works there. You made it amazing for us. I am grateful. Highly recommend this hotel and their staff!
