Hampton Inn & Suites Windsor - Sonoma Wine Country

We stayed here during our son's hockey tournament. Our family of five fit perfectly in a "King Bed Studio Suite W/ Sofabed"! Can I just say this suite was very spacious (yet cozy) and clean. For a basic Hampton Inn, I have fond memories of our stay. The breakfast was only alright, but I think that was because we were latecomers every morning. The location of the hotel was charming. The little town around it was very sweet and had many walking-distance conveniences. My only complaint about the room was that the bathroom sink was outside the actual bathroom and so to wash your hands or doing anything at the sink could potentially wake up any roommates. Also, depending on who you get at the front desk, water may or may not be complimentary ;)

Great spot for a wine country getaway. Close to Alexander valley, Dry Creek and Santa Rosa it is a perfect spot and reasonably priced. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The complimentary breakfast was good. Our only issue was the bed was a bit firm for us, but otherwise a great stay

Positive: Full breakfast. Kids loved the waffle machine and western omelets were tasty. Room was comfortable, quiet on the 3rd floor even though we were directly above the pool. Staff were kind and accommodating. Pool was clean, seating in sun and shade. Negative: ""

Beautiful, peaceful town, this hotel is located next to an Applebees and is walking distance to the towns green. The hotel was clean and quiet and as an added bonus has free parking and a pool/hottub. The outside sitting areas were lovely and we took advantage of the hot tub on the cool nights. Near many many wineries and close to Sonoma. The lady who worked the evening shift on the weekends was very pleasant. The complimentary breakfast is your typical Hampton inn breakfast. The pool was never stocked with towels so we had to ask the front desk each time we went. We asked on Monday if there was a possibility to get a later check out given that the hotel seemed pretty empty the night before that most people’s trips have come to an end. We were told it would be $25/hr for a late check out.

In all my travels this hotel rates a 10 for their hot/cold breakfast! Javier, with his great personality, presented fresh cut fruit, scrambled eggs or cheese omelette, sausage, bacon, and other specialties! The rooms were clean and quiet. Nice stay. Highly recommend!
