Hampton Inn & Suites Tulsa North/Owasso

I checked in on the app. When I got to the desk and asked why I couldn’t get a digital key she said the system is broken. Room 220 smells of stale cigarette smoke. Old outdated hotel. Old musky carpet and drapes, old bed that the springs creek with every turn and very thin mattress. Small tv with Cox remote and unable to sign into any apps to watch Netflix. The old corded phone in the room is stained by cigarette smoke. This would be my last resort hotel in the future. I’m surprised Hilton allows the condition of this hotel to go without putting demands on the franchisee. As a diamond member since 2004, and having stayed at 1000’s of Hiltons all across the country I was very disappointed in this hotel. The furniture in the room could use some updating/repairs; however, the beds were nice and comfortable. You do have 4 pillows on the bed. I really enjoyed the options for breakfast. I am not sure what the exact seasoning was they put on the potatoes, but it was a nice change to other hotels that barely have salt and pepper on the potatoes.

Positive: The breakfast was good & the view from window was good also. Negative: Reserved 2 double beds and was put in a king bath only bed suite. It was nice but really needed the 2 beds instead of 1 bed.

[Edited] Wood framing without concrete, and thin walls, means you can hear people in the rooms around you. I can feel it when someone walks or flushes in a nearby room. This is our first time in a Hampton when people could hear us well enough to ask management to quiet us down Edit: No change to the above paragraph. When management replied with a generic response that didn’t acknowledge the construction issue, I dropped it from 3 stars to 2. It’s worth noting though that the person on duty Emily did a a great job with communication with us and our downstairs neighbor.

Stayed there recently. Night auditor Rick was super kind and Brittany was very helpful with mailing me something my 9 year old left behind. Our daughter was soo excited to open the package Brittany returned to us. Will be our go to hotel when we visit family in Tulsa.
