Hampton Inn & Suites Texarkana

Location was a bit tricky due to the construction. Room smelled a bit, from the air conditioner, but after it ran for a while, it went away. Room was quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool looked nice and inviting. The outside seating was a welcomed change and nicely landscaped. The breakfast and coffee were very good--better than other Hampton's we've recently stayed. Price point was average.

Positive: Nice staff and clean rooms Negative: The shower wasn?t working totally properly, but was adequate.

Decent location, wish there was a more direct route from the freeway to the hotel. Property was clean and inviting. Parking was a little tricky due to nearby construction & some vehicles parallel parking across multiple spaces. Room was big and perfect for our family. I loved that the restroom had a dimming night light so you didn't get blinded going in in the middle of the night. Breakfast had a good variety and the area was clean. I was not recognized as a rewards member, nor given any bottled water/snacks like I usually receive at other Hilton owned properties so that was a little disappointing. I've stayed at multiple hotels in this area, and this one is by far the best value.

Chose this location knowing I will be coming in late & using a digital key.close to I30.Got to the property at 130am. Didn't see any employees or eat breakfast. Room was nice beds where comfortable. Restroom was a good size. The best part of everything check out was at 12pm. Got to get rest after traveling 12hr & 9 hr more to go. Great location next to the mall. I will stay again. If you are reading this yr loved & safe travels ❤️

1-star review – Disappointing and Overpriced – Not Worth $175/night Stayed here recently and was seriously let down—especially for a Hampton Inn, which I usually count on for consistent, reliable quality. Paid $175 a night and felt completely ripped off. Walked up to my room and the door was already propped open/unlocked when I arrived—no one around, just waiting like that. Sketchy start right there. Check-in took forever; the front desk was slow and disorganized, even though it wasn’t busy. The room itself is badly outdated. Dressers pushed weirdly far away from the walls (like someone was hiding something or just lazy maintenance), carpet and furniture look like they haven’t been updated in 20+ years. No smart TV—just an old basic one with limited channels. Shower was ridiculously small
