Hampton Inn & Suites Tallahassee I-10-Thomasville Rd

I want to start off this review by saying my only expectations from a hotel stay are feeling safe, a clean room, and a good night's rest. This hotel only met the safety expectation. The hotel room door was very difficult to open from the inside and outside but that made me feel safer...LOL! The room looked clean until I went to use the bathroom. The majority of the towels and washcloths had long hairs on them. The bathtub had long hair in it. The grab bar was rusty and I didn't feel comfortable holding on to it if I bathed. I did not take a shower because the bathtub was not clean and the grab bar was rusty. Due to dizziness, I did not feel safe showering with a rusty grab bar that may not be stable if I needed to hold on to it in a slippery bathtub. The baseboard in the bathroom was falli

Positive: The breakfast and how big the handicapped room was Negative: The bathroom was not very clean. The fan did not work, I reported it twice and no one came to fix it. After showering the room became humid and smelled humid the rest of trip(2days) The water pressure in the shower was very weak

Jami serviced me at the front desk and she was amazing! I had come in early and I asked if there was a room available. There was not, but Jami took down my name and number and contacted me as soon as a room was available. That was so kind of her. She has excellent customer service skills and a pleasant disposition.

This hotel was absolutely wonderful! I've stayed at Hampton Inns before while traveling with my family, but this particular location made things extra comfortable for my friend and I. We were lucky to snag a great deal—thank the Lord! When booking, we spoke with a very helpful woman over the phone who made the process smooth. Upon arrival, Jeremy, the receptionist and assistant manager, greeted us and was phenomenal. He provided all the information we needed and patiently answered every question we had. Even though the fire pit was supposed to be off after closing, it was left on for us and other guests since it was so cold outside. Room decent. Floors were so sticky that feet and socks stuck right to it. Check out time is 11, housekeeping knocking on our door at 9 am.. I just looked at her, and said we are in here can I help you. She leaves and comes back an hour later, BUT THIS TIME SHE JUST LET HERSELF IN WITH US IN THE ROOM. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. Best believe had myself , husband or child been doing anything other than getting ready to leave , this would be way more than a google review. Our door wasn’t shut all the way because my husband had just walked in with the luggage cart, not even 2 min later she walks in. It only takes a minute to call the desk to find out if a room has checkout ! Very unprofessional! I left my concerns with the front desk, just be aware of this .
