Let's see, we had 2 rooms. 1st - live stink bug, torn cushion couch, bed that goes boing. Moved to another room - more dead stink bugs, torn couch cushion, flickering light. Moved to 3rd room - 10+ dead stink bugs. Called next door to see if they had rooms. Traveling for family reunion, kids were tired and ready to see family, so just stayed here. Called front desk again to see if someone could come vacuum the room. Was told no, but they did let me borrow a stinky vacuum. These were the large rooms with two beds and couch. 2nd - heater blow was making whining sound. They sent someone up to look at it. He couldn't make it stop, so we moved to a second room. These were the regular 2 bed rooms. There were no words in how to describe the hotel in words listed. Pool was closed. Ex

The Hampton Inn & Suites St Louis/Alton is well-located, with numerous shopping and food options nearby. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. My room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and it came equipped with a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. The property overall seemed fairly new, well maintained, and felt totally safe. The fitness room was surprisingly well-equipped for a hotel in its class, with the latest in cardio and weight equipment. All in all, this is one of the best Hampton Inns I have stayed at and I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Checked in Thursday, took a look around the room noticed that the curtains were dirty. Bathroom had a lot of damage bathtub was stained or dirty by the bathroom sink there were some red stains by the mirror. I encounter two stink bugs during my stay. Friday morning left my room till about 5 PM came back. No room service had been done. Saturday came left the room again and finally I got room service. The only reason that I’m given it two star for the staff was because of the room service otherwise the front staff was very friendly and welcoming. The pool water was really murky not clear like the pictures. I can’t figure how to add videos otherwise I would add them to show how bad the room was.

Nice property. Pleasant staff at front desk. Nice room. This is our sixth stop at a Hilton property this week. Breakfast was by far the worst. Stale pastries, very limited choices. Standard Hilton fare eggs looked burned. No yogurt. Few bagels.
