Hampton Inn & Suites Sacramento-Elk Grove Laguna I-5

The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful! The breakfast was pretty decent. The rooms are very spacious, but I do think it needs a deep carpet cleaning or a plug in air freshener! The room had a little bit of an odor. The room service crew did a pretty good job at changing the sheets and giving us new towels/wash cloths.

My Son and his wife stayed here three nights. They checked out on Tuesday and there were no issues. They find out days later there is an additional 450$ charge for “room repairs”. When they called on Saturday the person who answered said they didn’t see any notes or issues and to call back today (12/29/2025) and speak to the manager Kim. This manager said the closet door was shattered. They never shattered the door and the manager has yet to even provide proof. He asked for pictures and nothing has been sent. Sounds like a scam. I have stayed at Hampton Inn many times but I would avoid this one if they fraudulently bill days after check out. I advised my son to call the headquarters in Virginia. Maybe this “Kim” has a habit of ripping people off. How do we know who shattered the mirror?

The hotel receptionist Lailani provided outstanding service from start to finish. She was welcoming, professional, and extremely helpful during check-in and throughout my stay. Her positive attitude and attention to detail made a great first impression and truly enhanced my experience. I highly recommend this hotel because of the exceptional front desk service Lailani provided will diffinetly return and recommend

Positive: The breakfast was excellent, especially the attendant. I gave her a $5 tip because of how nicely I observed that she proactively offered to assist a man on crutches. Negative: Yes, there were 2 things that I disliked. 1. The toilet in the bathroom needs replaced! It had no flushing power & the in-tank stopper would engage only by removing the lid & reaching in the tank to reset it. 2. TV played 2/3 of normal channels.

Stayed here twice on a trip to phoenix. Got the king suite and room was EXCELLENT! Huge room, comfy bed, perfect layout with sofa and chair, huge desk, etc. Staff was amazing and kind. The night guy is slightly odd, but nice. Near fast food, right off freeway but super safe parking. Quiet too. Highly recommend!
