Hampton Inn & Suites Port Lavaca

This particular location exceeded standards. When walking in, I took note in the clean, and comfortable environment. The staff, especially the front desk, were professional, polite, and helpful. Didn’t smell like roaches in there or nothing unlike some of the neighboring hotels down the road cough, cough. I will be staying again!

Excellent choice as staff is amazing and property is also in great shape and very comfortable. Also location is within 2-min drive to Walmart, Starbucks and some fast food locations. Property was quiet at night and beds comfortable and we were upgraded to a mini-suite. The reason for 4 vice 5 stars were a few things that required fixing like our a/c as wall controller did no work, was hard to connect to WiFi….once these are fixed this property is most deserving of 5-stars. I’d stay here again||We used the gym and treadmills and cardio machines are in good shape— but could not get the cable TV to work even though all are connected. Gym has full set of dumbbells and there is a multi-purpose cable machine that could use a few more attachments to make it fully versatile. Sits in a v

The waffles are freaking amazing !! By far the best ! Front desk has amazing customers service is always on top with a smile !! The rooms take the cake always has a fresh smell an clean to the T . The housekeepers are always smiling an very attentive . Along with Mrs. Christine is always welcoming !!

The mananger/owner of this establishment is very unprofessional, lacks decorum and rude. I attempted to discuss a very simple expense issue, the manager/owner went into defensive mode. She had tons of excuses as opposed to calming down and listening to the issue at hand. The staff is great! But this place could use a new/owner manager. I am a gold member, awaiting Port Lavaca to capture a new Hilton location as this is where I would stay. She thinks she doesn't have to be professional due to her ownership in the Port Lavaca area. She would benefit to have some sore of leadership and customer service training, it seems her team has!

Miss. Marquita is one of the best people I have ever come across. My career is 80% travel so I am blessed to meet lots of amazing people during my Hotel stays. She has been kind, respectful, helpful, and a blessing to meet in my everyday Journey! We spend so much of our time complaining, or upset about circumstances in our lives, that we forget to thank the people we come across that might have a smile or a kind word to say. I pray that she is recognized for her exceptional service, and when she is having a bad day, I hope theses words find her, and brighten her day. Thank you Hampton Inn family.
