Hampton Inn & Suites Lenoir

My husband, a fully disabled Veteran secondary to injuries he sustained in direct service to his country, attempted to secure a room in person and was told rate changes have been implemented and there were no longer ANY specialty rates. The charge would be $207/night, which he politely declined. I was able to obtain a military family rate, which reduced the cost to $163.56/night, by booking on online. When I arrived 10 minutes later to obtain the room, I questioned the the front desk attendant on the discrepancy of information my husband was given (by them) and the rate that Hilton had for Veterans/Military personnel available on their website. Desk attendant was unable to provide a clear reason other than online booking may provide cheaper rates which I understand can be true, if booke

I had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Lenoir, North Carolina. The staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, I can’t remember all of their names and helpful, which really made the stay enjoyable. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The area around the hotel was nice, quiet, and convenient. Overall, it was a great experience, and I will definitely be coming back and staying here again soon. I highly recommend this hotel.#RAISE

Absolutely horrible policies that are RIGID, not compassionate and cost families money!!! Do NOT book here! My aunt is driving from 5 hrs away to take my dad to surgery. Due to a medical issue that happened on Thursday with my father who has dementia, the surgeon & anesthesiologist delayed the surgery one week. When I called to change the dates of her hotel stay, I was told I could not change the dates AND that I would be charged the first night. There was ZERO compassion or attempt to understand the situation. Simply a commitment to a rigid policy that squeezes money out of families who are already experiencing a challenging time with medical issues and taking care of a person with dementia and other health issues. Do not try to book at this hotel. They will never get our business again

My grandfather had his surgery changed and they were unwilling to work with my family to change the room date for family to stay. I have never seen a problem with changing the date if they are notified in advance. The manager and everyone that spoke with us were cold and not empathetic. Made us pay $200 which is hard on top of having to take care of our grandpa which has dementia. Super disappointed!
