Hampton Inn & Suites Irvine-Orange County Airport

We were staying at Disneyland Hotel for a short Xmas trip, but after our last day at the theme park, we moved over to Hampton Irvine to save some money before our SNA flight the next morning. I used 30k honors points for a king room with sofa bed. I like how you can pick your room on the app and you get a SMS when your room is ready. ||The location is good, very close to SNA but I didn’t hear any plane noises. A lot of restaurants and shopping within 5 min driving. The block where the Hampton is also has Hilton and other hotels nearby, as well as some office buildings. ||There is a self parking fee (I forget the amount) which is too bad since the parking lot is 1/4 full. Positive: Shuttle driver was cordial. Negative: We confirmed 2x that shuttle will be available for our 10:30pm arrival and told shuttle will pick us up when we call but told upon arrival that no driver was available! Told water not available for 1/2 hr. as repairs being made. Had no water till 5am.

We stayed here on 2-19-26. Worst Issue: This building VIBRATES CONSTANTLY. You feel it everywhere even when you are in bed. I called the front desk. They sent someone up who said they would check and be back. Never saw or heard from them again. Apparently, they just pretend it's not happening. Constant vibration is not good for building structures. I think someone should reinspect it for safety. Hotel was clean and well-maintained (it's new). The decor is jarring. Mustard yellow, white and black contemporary. Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was terrible, definitely not prepared there unless you count reheating frozen food.

Very comfortable and clean. A well managed hotel. Have stayed here multiple times for both short and extended visits and the experience always delivers well for my wife and I. On this trip we were welcomed very warmly by Eric and John (promoted to Ast GM) who remembered us from our previous visits. Very special. Marissa at Breakfast also. Property does not feel like an airport hotel, and is nicely situated to enjoy Irvine and surrounding areas.

We stayed at this hotel for five nights over Thanksgiving holiday. We always have very good service and very pleasant people representing this hotel. We had one situation… On Thanksgiving morning in the breakfast area. It was jam packed. We have stayed here a number of times and never seen so many people. The employee handling the breakfast area was by himself, as his coworker went home ill. His name is Stanley, and he handled all of this craziness in a calm and efficient manner. Nothing got him upset and he tended to everyone’s needs and with a smile. The employees behind the front desk we’re all very friendly and very nice.
