Hampton Inn & Suites Hartford/East Hartford

Did an overnight stay with my kid, and I was amazed at how great our experience was. Allison checked us in and she was absolutely warm and friendly. She was quick to provide us with complimentary waters and some snacks, which felt welcoming. Our room was spotless and smelled very pleasant. The temperature in the room was nice and cool which was nice walking into. From the spotless sheets to the comfy pillows, we had a comfy nights rest. The TV had enough channels, but Boomerang was our favorite. The bathroom was super clean and the pressure of the water was perfect! The small fridge and microwave came in handy. Positive: "" Negative: Our stay was terrible. First the indoor pool was overcrowded and there were so many unsupervised little kids. I had to call the front desk twice because they disrupted our sleep. I could go on. Hotel staff wasnt great either.

Stay away from this hotel at all costs! The employees are liars and thieves. My daughter booked a block of rooms for guests at her wedding. She made up special "Thank You" bags for all of her guests. When my wife and I checked in on Saturday afternoon we were told there were no bags left. The following day, we were given 2 plastic buckets with over 25 bags remaining. Inside were bags that had the contents taken. After discussing this issue with Dan, Kim and Angela (Hilton Management team onsite), they all dismissed it with an "Oh I'm so sorry to hear that" and tried to blame it on my daughter for not giving specific enough instructions. I wanted to write this review for the staff they were AMAZING! The woman who checked us in yesterday afternoon is perfect for the front desk her energy is a whole vibe! The morning staff specifically the breakfast crew go above and beyond and are so helpful and friendly they made everything so easy and I wish I thought ahead to grab their names but either way they deserve the recognition! We booked a room for our daughter’s birthday weekend because she really wanted to go swimming and we really had a good time! The room itself was super clean (I’m the mom who goes in first just to disinfect everything) so that made setting up the room for her arrival so easy. I had little spa baskets set up for them, they went swimming, we had some food delivered and took a little walk in the snow when it
