Hampton Inn & Suites Green River

The only reason for the 4 star rating is because this is one of the few Hamptons that have not renovated recently. I stay at a lot of Hamptons because I like the hotels. They are always clean, have great service, and have a pretty good free breakfast. Most of the ones I have stayed at recently have updated to smart TVs and Kuerig coffee makers in the rooms. This one has not but overall it was still a pleasant stay.

Overall a good experience. However, my room did not have conditioner; which meant the cleaning staff didn't check the bottle for weeks. I requested conditioner my first night, they said they were refilling it, and the next morning it was still empty. Would have given 5 stars but both coffee machines were empty. First Hampton I've been to that failed to provide conditioner. First Hampton to fail to provide coffee. Rooms were clean, front desk was friendly.

Overall, this is a modern hotel with some warmth to it that is a great stopover for traveling on I-80 or if checking out Flaming Gorge/Uinta Mountains. ||Earlier this year I was camping near Flaming Gorge but ran into a point in my trip I needed a wall outlet and wifi for my phone which was acting up in order to continue my trip. I swung by here hopeful they could help me out and shout out to Connie, one of the managers, for being super accomodating and letting me hang out in the lobby, use wifi and even have some hot coffee. ||I then decided to come back and stay here when I had a business trip in the area (specifically what this review pertains to). My experience was just as good as I had hope it would be and I'm glad I returned to experience staying here. Though Connie wasn't there when

Rude front desk staff. Booked online for $119.00. Traveling with a service pet and wanted to make sure I wasn't charged for my service animal. So I asked for a breakdown of what the $184.00 was, instead of closer to the $119.00. I was told by "Sarah" I couldn't be given a receipt or a breakdown of my charges. That it's "confidential" I explained that she just charged my card $184.00 and I should be able to know what for. She refused. I then asked for the internet access information. I was told "she can give me a one time access" but if I want to use the internet in the I would need a Hilton Honors number. As it's reserved for Honors guests. The building is absolutely stunning. Very unfortunate the ugliness of the front desk person overrides the beauty. Would not recommend staying here.
