Hampton Inn & Suites Clearwater/St. Petersburg-Ulmerton Road, FL

I had a very disappointing experience during my recent stay at the Hilton. For a nightly rate of around $600, I expected a much higher level of service and comfort. The overall experience was confusing and poorly organized. At the pool area there were no towels available, and guests were instructed to go all the way up to the 6th floor just to get a simple towel, which is very inconvenient. Additionally, there was no complimentary pool chair service, and chairs were charged separately, which is surprising considering the high cost of the stay. The beds were also a major issue. The bed frame had a metal structure that made a lot of noise whenever someone moved, making it difficult to rest comfortably. Another problem was the noise from a dog in the room next door. Weird off the road location but it is quiet and very nice there. Hilton quality for sure. Front desk was great. I was impressed. Staying somewhere that looks brand new and clean makes a difference.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stayed here while passing through and it was exactly what you want from a roadside stop. Everything was good—clean room, comfortable bed, easy check-in, and a quiet night of rest. Nothing particularly fancy or over the top, but honestly that’s a good thing. There were no problems, no surprises, and everything worked as it should. If you’re looking for a reliable, comfortable place to stop and recharge for the night, this Hampton Inn & Suites does the job well. I’d definitely stay here again when traveling through.

Positive: Location Negative: Upon entering room, toilet did not work. My husband had to fix it. At 1:00 am we were awaken by a group out in the hallway, a group of teenagers who thought it would be fun to put a bunch of coins in the dryer. We left at 4am because we couldn't sleep.

What a horrible hotel and service. The rooms smell like mold, humidity, and dust. The man at the front desk was completely unhelpful — I asked to change rooms, and he made me go downstairs at midnight with my luggage and two babies just to give me a new key for another room that actually worked. After all that trouble, the other room had the same awful smell. The place feels dirty, poorly maintained, and uncomfortable. So much inconvenience and no care for guests. Never stay here!
