Hampton Inn & Suites Alpena

Anyone reading my reviews knows 5 star reviews from me are not common. ||This Hampton Inn gets one. ||The hotel is brand new. Everything was clean and everything worked. Not always the case. ||We got a super nice room with plenty of outlets, good lighting, etc||We had a big bathroom with a tall toilet and plenty of room.||the bed was very comfortable.||they had a super nice new weight room. ||The TV was very large and had plenty of channels.||Breakfast was typical good Hampton Inn.||overall a great stay.

This is now our second stay and the staff is amazing! Rooms are well maintained and very clean! Very impressed and highly recommend. The two staff members at the front desk , Jordan and Jordis were so sweet and super friendly. I normally do not leave reviews of our hotel stays but this one and their staff definitely deserve the praise!

I think the person who checked me in was Kelly. I hope I got the name right, she was amazing. She absolutely made my night with her positive & kind energy. Hotel still smells new, it’s clean and comfortable. Fitness area is great and the breakfast was great! They even seasoned the potatoes with rosemary which I was not expecting for a hotel.

Mattresses are too soft. First room bathroom was not cleaned. Changed rooms. Both front and back handicapped parking places had deep snow. It was difficult to get to my vehicle and get luggage out onto the cart. I couldn't get the luggage cart to my vehicle. I mentioned it to the staff and nothing was done. Someone could have picked up a shovel.

The Rooms were amazing and clean, the staff were so friendly. Kelly and I think the other girls name was jordis were very helpful and sweet when I had any questions or needed anything. Would recommend this hotel.
