Hampton Inn Richland

Expedia gets just as crappy rooms as Priceline and I quit using them over a decade ago. Im about to explain why I won't book with them anymore. This was not what was in the photos online. I ordered a room with a yellow chaise specifically for a medical reason and got this uncomfortable chair that I can't sit in with my back because I need my knees out after swelling in the car all day (8 hrs). I order rooms based on comfort, which is almost impossible in these hotels -and they don't care. The night stand attached to the wall is lopsided...sheesh. They have blocked off handicapped parking for Diamond Members- who obviously don't stay here. So, do we have something against the handicapped now because Im noticing a real pattern of inconsiderations by these 3rd rate hotels. Parking is awful an

Positive: Bed was comfortable Negative: First off at check in, desk was VERY RUDE, barely said 2 words. I walked up and she gave me a glare and said 'what do you want' told her to check in gave my name, said nothing else other than room number and where elevatorStool in room ran continuously

The entrance and commons area was clean, friendly staff.|We stayed on the second floor, we had a total of 4 rooms. 3 out of 4 smelled very musty-moldy. Rooms were okay, just not super pleasant in smell.||**breakfast was not good at all. Fruit was old, toaster barely worked or burnt things. Oatmeal was soo slimy. Waffles were good but the cinnamon roll batter does not set up at all. Eggs were okay but the cheese was rubbery. ||We felt like for $150 a night it was below par.

Very nice and clean hotel! We’ve stayed here twice, and it didn’t disappoint. The food is more like cafeteria-style—nothing fancy, just basic items—but it was still good for what we needed. It was a quick stop to rest before getting back on the road. I will definitely stay here again. The staff was quick and friendly. Highly recommend if you need to make a pit stop!

Clean and serviceable with a standard breakfast and pleasant staff. Lots if little issues with maintenance: broken toggles/switches, broken and out of service exercise equipment, little sound proofing in ceiling and walls. Located on a busy highway with lots of diverse places to eat nearby (e.g. we had sushi). Pet friendly. Good enough for an o ernigbt stay while passing through.
