Hampton Inn North Brunswick/New Brunswick

I stayed at the Hampton Inn North Brunswick for one night. The overall experience was fine — nothing fancy, but it met the basics for a short stay. The room was clean and comfortable, although the décor felt a bit dated. The carpeted floors and older furnishings made the space feel a little worn, but everything was in working order and generally well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, and the room had all the standard amenities like a mini fridge, microwave, and TV. > > One highlight was the complimentary breakfast. When we checked in that evening, our original room assignment had been moved to an entirely different floor, and there was no record of my earlier conversation. The front desk staff offered no real help. In the end, we were given rooms on the same floor but far apart, which was very inconvenient for my parents. On top of that, the staff member handed me only one room key, and when I asked for the key to the second room, she seemed irritated and made me wait until she finished assisting another guest.||The explanation given was that since one room had a king bed and the other had two queens, they “couldn’t” put them next to each other. Supposedly, someone had tried to call me, but no call ever reached us (we had two numbers on file, and they apparently only tried our landline).||To make mat

Positive: Nice room- good price Negative: We had no hot water in the morning to shower. We had an event that day at 1PM. The women at the desk tried very hard to accommodate, but there were no other rooms to put us in. She guaranteed a full refund, but that hasn't happened after 12 days

Location was perfect for me. It has many stores within walking distance or 3 mins ride. Hotel was quiet, and room seemed clean. Not a new building, so shows its wear. Breakfast was free and good. Nice breakfast area with tvs and comfortable seats. Plenty of parking. Workers were helpful and available.

Room was super clean. Pool was good and heated. Great water pressure with plenty of HOT water. Breakfast was a good spread. The only negative was that someone (staff) entered my room unannounced at approximately 9:45am. Checkout was 11am. No words, no apology. I just pushed the door shut and latched it. So that was a bit creepy, I did fail to chain the door after collecting my breakfast. Glad I was just sitting alone and eating and not doing something more exciting at the time.
