Hampton Inn Moss Point Pascagoula

The room furniture is dated but it has a nice size room and hugh bathroom with walk-in shower. The refrigerator was larger than most hotel sized. They are starting renovation next month (really needed) replacing everything in the rooms. I was ok with the outdated furniture except the chair which was very dirty. and worn. The morning staff were very friendly but the best way to describe the night desk clerk is grumpy. Did not make for a pleasant start. Breakfast had good biscuits and gravy.

Staff was great….. Hair in the shower, no hot water, missing a whole closet door, need new mattress, and they need to teach their housekeeping crew how to make the beds the right way!!!! This hotel over all needs an upgrade!

Hampton Inn on the outside but definitely not on the inside. We did a digital check in like we normally do. However once we got up to the room, our key did not work. So of course we had to go back down to the lobby. We were told “ digital keys don’t work here” That would have been nice to know in advance. The big issue that I had was with the water. It’s either hot or boiling hot. After driving for over 9 hours I was looking forward to a nice shower. Nope. Had to go to bed dirty. I like hot showers but it literally hurt when it touched my skin. That’s on the “cold” setting. The sink was the same way. Some people like to splash cold water on their face in the mornings, can’t do that here. Everything was old and smelled old. Total dump.

Property is old with lots of cracks and stains and holes in room, on comforter, floor/ceiling, and bathroom. Sink clogged. Pricey for the accommodations. Outside looked nice and we usually like Hampton Inns, but we were not impressed this time!
