Hampton Inn Martin

I love Hampton Inns but THIS ONE REALLY DISAPPOINTED ME! It is old with MANY STAINS and BLEACH SPOTS on the carpet. It was vacuumed but there was EMBEDDED DIRT around the edges of the carpet and the bathroom floor. In my bathroom there was DIRTY UNDERWEAR up UNDER THE SINK that could be seen from the toilet or shower. I left a note & an arrow pointing to it on the mirror. SO GROSS!! It desperately NEEDED to have A REMODEL because it was very RUN DOWN. The BREAKFAST was not what is at most Hampton Inns I have stayed at. I was there 2 hours before it ended but it was very PICKED OVER and not much left. The blueberry MUFFINS were so HARD & DRY you could bang them on the table. Another kind of muffin was fresh. Positive: The location was near our destination. Negative: We thought the room was nice and clean. Then, my husband dropped my empty coffee cup on the way to the trash can . The cup rolled under the bed skirt. There were four more cups under that bed. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

Went down at 7:30 this morning to grab a cup of coffee. Both urns of coffee, labeled dark and light were empty. I pointed it out to the 2 clerks who were sitting behind the desk playing with their computers and they replied that they were real busy. Very insolently, one of them said, “they’re both the same”. I replied that they were both empty. I haven’t stayed in a Hilton property for many years. Became a very happy Marriott customer. When I checked in the other night, my Hilton Honors number didn’t work, so the very nice clerk tried to get me resigned up. When I tried to sign up with the HH number that was emailed to me, it didn’t work, so the next morning, I mentioned it to the clerk, she said the clerk the previous night didn’t know what he was doing … that the only way to sign up was

This was our third stay at this hotel, as options in Martin, TN, are limited. We remain loyal to the Hilton brand, but we have some concerns about this particular location.||Upon entering, there is a strong chlorine smell that permeates the downstairs area. This place was excellent booked it at the last minute after a concert and they gave us a quiet relaxing room and the staff was great. Breakfast just hit the spot in the morning too.
