Days Inn by Wyndham Martin

This place was once tolerable but despite it being affordable, cleanliness was nonexistent. The pictures will tell a better story, but in summarize; there was some kind of liquid under the glass on the dresser and one of the drawers had dried Ramen in it. The floors have not been swept well for quite some time and the areas behind the furniture may never have seen a broom much less a mop. For a non smoking room, it sure smelled like a smoking room as did the bedding. The hairdryer had make up all over it and there was a moldy coffee packet in the tray. The safety bar in the room was loose and held up by screws but not secured in any way. It fell off the wall while I was in the shower. Microwave has not been cleaned in some time. This was one of my worst, if not the worst, travel experiences ever! I have stayed at Wyndham hotels all over the country and have never felt the way I felt after my experience at this hotel. To begin with, I was greeted with accusatory tones when I told the front desk worker that I was using a third party vendor (Uplift/FlexPay) to pay for my stay. She claimed no virtual credit card was on file, which was not true after speaking with FlexPay the next morning. After finally providing a credit card we use for emergencies only, we were given a room after waiting close to an hour "for my manager to respond". We get to the room about 1 am, move our stuff in only to find a bug in the bed (I have pictures of this if you need proof). We could not call the front desk from the room because th

Worst experience ever, I’ve stayed here before so we booked again. Arrived around 3a, I called ahead of time explaining arrival time. Received room keys for 121. There was a bad smell, turned lights on and there were a lot of dead flies or bugs on the floor, ceiling had several flies too. We requested another room, and front desk said room was clean which it wasn’t. He cancelled our reservation on the spot? We informed him we saw other rooms that looked available but he said no more rooms, goodbye. We were there in on trip to visit our daughter in college and now had to find elsewhere to stay at 4am. Will never stay here again.

Positive: Hot water Negative: Place really needs a face-lift. Patch and paint would go a long way.

Was ok til I got in the shower. By habit had locked the bathroom door. After I got out of shower the exhaust vent wasn't working and it got very stuffy in there. Tried to open door and could not. Having COPD I started to panic thus causing me to lose my breath. After trying to calm myself and then hitting the lock very hard twisting the lock it finally came open. About 15 minutes. Please fix those locks.
