Hampton Inn Lawrenceville

Allen @ the front desk was very courteous and a great help. He's patient and attentive. The rooms are ok. No it's not the Ritz, but for the price, it will accommodate your needs. It looked like they were in the middle of renovating rooms so the rooms might look more up to date soon. Theirs a Publix and a few restaurants within walking distance.

Positive: "" Negative: I was woke up at approximately 7, 7:30 in the morning to the sound of banging on the wall just behind my head. I was not told, nor was it in the listing that there was construction going on. I was basically dismissed from front desk. No resolution

The staff were mostly friendly although the initial check-in person was obviously in a rush and wasn't so pleasant. The place was dirty and old. I can understand a facility being worn out but dirty is just not acceptable. It was one of the dirtiest places that I have stayed. The floors , carpet and elevator needed attention. There was so much dust on the piece of furniture in front of the elevator, we drew a line on it. We asked for our two rooms to be cleaned after the second day, but they didn't come to clean. We stayed 3 nights. I am not a picky person but cleanliness is very important. I was very disappointed. It seems that the facility is understaffed.

They DO NOT offer fresh towels daily and some rooms had only 3 towels for a 4 person stay. Unacceptable. The room was nasty. The walls had stains everywhere. The door handles to the bathrooms were missing. The doors would jam presumably from paint. The lighting is so dim you cannot see. They asked to schedule when we could go down for breakfast and give us wristbands which is highly unusual. ||This is NOT Hampton standards and it was overwhelmingly disappointing.

Very nice stay. Probably the best breakfast I have ever had at a hotel OR restaurant. We were amazed at their breakfast. It was more like a full spread than a continental breakfast. Room was nice, well appointed, reasonable rate. Note to mgmt: Rm. 112 floor tile makes a "popping" sound when stepped on. No real issues otherwise.
