Customer Reviews
Positive: "" Negative: When we checked into the hotel, we were given the wrong room. When the key card did not work, a maid who was nearby let us into the room. Imagine our surprise when a couple opened the door as they had been assigned to the room.
The A/C unit in my room would not shut off, no matter what I did. I turned off the unit switch and the thermostat, yet it continued blowing air and making loud noise. I reported this to the front desk on Monday night and was told a maintenance request had been submitted. I left for work early Tuesday morning and returned that evening to find that nothing had been addressed. I contacted the front desk again Tuesday night, and a different employee claimed she would submit another request. I left for work Wednesday and came back to the exact same issue. When I complained again Wednesday night, the front desk attendant said he would look into it and call me back—he never did. On top of that, I received a text message asking about my stay and was told that a manager would contact me Wednesday
I traveled to VA for business and was unable to book the hotel that was recommended due to it being sold out. This was the only hotel that was available on the nights I needed and in the area that was suggested to me. I was skeptical after reading the Google reviews, but I didn’t really have a choice due to availability. First impression: the location is nice because there are a lot of restaurants and shopping options within walking distance. The gentleman that checked me in was very friendly and professional. When I initially walked in my room, it looked nice and clean. I was relieved after reading the reviews but unfortunately, the relief did not last long. I ran out to pick up a couple of things and when I got back to the room, I noticed something on the curtains. Upon closer inspectio
Stayed just one night as we passed through on a visit to family in Haymarket. So we didn’t have a chance to really assess the experience. However, my room was comfortable, clean, quiet, and equipped with everything I needed. The air conditioner was a bit loud, but didn’t interfere with my sleep. Breakfast the next morning offered many choices, including oatmeal, waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, bagels, toast, juices, coffee, and tea. Located in a retail area, there wasn’t a clear driveway/entrance, but there was plenty of parking.
My partner and I booked this hotel because it was close to where we were spending the holidays. Very close to a lot of food places/drinks etc. we had a bad experience with housekeeping. We had brought a bag of our Christmas items to our room and I guess they thought it was trash. Had lots of sentimental items, cash and also treats that my niece had picked through before we left the room for the day. We got back and the entire bag was gone.
