Hampton Inn Ft. Lauderdale/Downtown Las Olas Area

my wife and I were visiting Florida the week before thanksgiving weekend and stayed 2 nights at the Hampton Inn. Really enjoyed our stay; rooms were spotless, staff were very courteous. Location is pretty good and walking distance to the Riverwalk. We spent the next few days in Orlando and noticed that while checking out from the Hampton, we had left some clothes in the closet. Called the hotel, and Shawni was so helpful and professional. She coordinated with the housekeeping staff to locate our stuff and arranged to have it ready the next morning for pickup. The next day, which was a Sunday, while we were heading to Miami cruise port, our pit stop at the Hampton went seamlessly, and Shawni had everthing ready to go. Even picked up coffee to tide me over the trip through to Miami. Excellen

Positive: Value-out of season! They do charge $50 PER night so those staying longer “invest the most” which seems odd. They do return the deposit immediately upon checkout. Negative: Small inconvenience due to construction at the property. The hotel is close to las olas but also right on top of homeless encampment! Bus terminal is a block away. People on sidewalks, business stoops, everywhere! Fll has a problem

Leaving another review because after I left my last one I was told I would be getting Hilton points added to my account. Here is my original review that the hotel responded to and said they would give me points: Very dissatisfied with my stay. We were woke up about 4 AM when the couple in the room we shared a wall with started to fight. We reported it to the front desk and they said they would call the room. The did not call the room because I would have heard it through the paper thin walls. Again at 6 AM we were woken up to very disturbing noises coming from the neighbor room. I’m so annoyed we paid so much for a room we couldn’t get sleep in and we were so uncomfortable having to listen to a domestic dispute and I don’t even want to say what else we heard. We stopped in at the bar and Rebecca was by herself handling quite a few tables and the bar. She greeted us when we arrived and advised she’d be with us as soon as she could. She got our drinks quickly and my husband was quite happy with his mixed drink and my wine as great! It was obvious that she was hustling to take care of patrons as quickly, while still having a positive attitude, as she could!||Check in at this hotel was great as well! The two young men working were very friendly and made us feel welcome!

Fabulous hotel which strives hard to provide excellent service. Breakfast is surprisingly nice with various choices Rooms are large clean and comfortable. The bar area provides an excellent choice of drinks and Britney provides excellent service ensuring your glass doesn't remain empty lol for very long. The pool area is lovely. In truth its a lovely hotel
