Hampton Inn Ft. Lauderdale Airport North Cruise Port

The front desk staff was exceptional especially Arnissa. The inn was very clean, and the breakfast was great. It is a nice place to stay before and after your cruise.|The airport shuttle was on time but could not accommodate 6 people in our party. If they came back for the other 6 people, it would have been at least a half hour, so they had to take a taxi. They definitely need more shuttles.

Price is okay. Rooms aren’t the nicest and has a lot of broken items in the room. The biggest issue is their so-called “airport shuttle service” aka it doesn’t exist. I chatted with them on the app weeks before our reservation and they said to either call a number they provided or chat with them when we are ready to be picked up. Once we arrived at the airport we tried to call the number but it doesn’t work. We tried to call every possible other number and didn’t get anywhere. We tried to chat with them again on the app but nobody responded. Hourssss later they finally responded to the chat and said due to traffic the shuttle is running on a slower schedule than usual. That has absolutely nothing to do with not even being able to contact them to ask about the shuttle. We deserve a partial

While the location was decent and the rooms were comfortable and clean (nothing extravagant, but perfectly adequate), the staff went far above and beyond to make the experience special. A consistently great experience when staying at this Hampton Inn. We stay here whenever we are cruising out of the Fort Lauderdale cruise port and have never been disappointed. They make the transfer from the airport to the hotel very easy and the location Is excellent with convenient transfer to the cruise port also available. The hotel and rooms are very clean and the service is excellent. The breakfast buffet is very well presented and substantial. The staff is friendly and courteous. This is a very well run hotel. Kudos to the management and staff.
