Hampton Inn Dunedin

We’ve stayed here a couple times and really like it. Big, clean rooms, helpful, friendly staff, Mark made the check in experience great. Walkable to great Mexican, a good dive bar, a seafood restaurant, and a Publix. Gym was big and well equipped, pool is decent (with the exception of tiny towels). Drive to beautiful Clearwater beach in about 25 min. We had good breakfast while we were there - biscuits and gravy one day :) They did seem a little short on towels both times, but later in the day they have more available. Parking garage keeps you out of the sun.

We stayed the night at this location for our Florida travel. The reason we chose this location because we wanted to explore the Dunedin and Clearwater areas. Honey State Park is just on the other side of the bridge from the hotel. Its surrounding areas offered a lot of restaurants. Before we entered the hotel, the outside was clean and looked modern. The lobby was clean and inviting. At check in, the staff was friendly and welcoming. He provided clear directions to our room and information about breakfast, and access to the pool and gym. Once we got to our room, the room was spacious and everything was very clean and tidy. We had a great stay at Hampton Inn Dunedin. Everything was excellent from start to finish. The hotel was very clean and well maintained, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was good with plenty of options to start the day. The location is perfect—everything is close and easily walkable, which made getting around very convenient. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and we would definitely stay here again.

Positive: Location and quiet Negative: Had to change rooms twice.#421: moved to 226 on 11/12 due toLCD on temp control not working and poor hot water. #226: moved to 219 on 11/16 due to NO hot water.The hotel staff admitted trouble with hot water heaters. This should be vetted by providers!

Most things about this hotel were very good. It's bright and clean and still has that newish appearance. Others have commented on its favourable location but its quite a bit out from Dunedin town and you need to drive a distance on Honeymoon Island to find a suitable beach.|We did have an issue on one night of our stay which was resolved by the granting of Hilton points but these things really should not happen in the first place. Franky's adjacent to the hotel is an excellent place to eat.
