Hampton Inn by Hilton Clinton

Really enjoyed our stay! Every staff member we came across from front desk, maintenance, cleaning staff, and the breakfast host were all so incredibly friendly. When we would walk past anyone in the halls they all spoke and greeted us with a smile, it was so refreshing. The room and bathroom were clean and the breakfast was wonderful! Will most definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises.

Nice clean facility with outstanding staff and good selection of tasty dishes for breakfast. We had a 2 queen bed room and it could have used a 2nd night stand as well as/or a 2nd chair as the bed was too high to sit on without reclining. It is a resort town but there didn't appear to be facilities for parking with boat trailers. We had to park a fair distance from the door due to a truck with boat trailer parked sideways using several parking spaces. To be fair, they were apparently doing some construction and had storage trailers parked in one area which may be for boat trailers in the future. All in all, a good place to stay and we will return when traveling in the area.

The hotel looks very nice and is definitely clean. The challenge that my husband and I face is that we are both wheelchair users and their ADA accessible rooms with roll in showers designed for wheelchair users aren’t really accessible. While there is a bench. The shampoo and conditioner and body wash are mounted on a wall over 5 feet away and the bench slopes downward and is a slippery surface making it very challenging to safely use. I mentioned this to the general manager during checkout, and she said it was on the far wall because when obese clients use the 3+ ft wide bench They reported feeling cramped With the shampoo and conditioner, mounted closer. So note taken that someone’s comfort is more important than our safety… Additionally, a few months back they had damage to their access

My mother came down to visit from Oklahoma so me and my siblings decided to stay with her. next morning and employee kicks my brother out bc of who he’s friends with. He wasn’t loud or obnoxious. Minding our own business. When she saw him and decided to kick him out but also said he didn’t do anything wrong but he needs to check out.

This is an older hotel. There is considerable construction ongoing to remodel and it could use some updating. The staff were wonderful. Everyone so friendly. We would stay there again.
