Hampton Bays Hotel On Main

The rooms have a quaint clean appearance. The staff made the stay enjoyable, kind and helpful with places to see nearby. The downstairs lounge was also a great experience.

The hotel is located on a cute street, conveniently close to a supermarket and restaurants. The rooms themselves are decent. However, for a one-night stay that cost $424.64, this experience only deserves one star.||If you’re planning to sleep, don’t expect to get any rest until at least 4 AM. The music from the bar downstairs is unbelievably loud, and the main door is so squeaky that you hear every person coming and going all night long.||To make matters worse, the toilet was dirty, with the bottom of the seat soiled upon arrival. There is also no hotel parking—you have to search for street parking (though at least they do disclose this in advance).||A place like this might be worth around $150 a night, but at over $400, it’s simply unjustifiable.

CAUTION: If you are a light sleeper, or are looking for something that is ABOVE simply a bed and bathroom, this is not the place for you. It is the least expensive option out here, and that is about it. The rooms are small, the walls are thin, and it is above a bar. And if you require an elevator you will be out of luck. Not horrible, but as one post put it, it is pretty much a hostel though you’ll have your own small, private bath. For my one night stay I found it suitable for my needs, for what it is. Check-in was pretty straightforward, and there is no one on sight, so if you’re looking for human interaction here you will not find it.

This hotel was exactly what we needed for our get away. The service and rooms were impeccable. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone traveling to this area.

This hotel is extremely affordable, close to the train, great restaurants, walkable services including nails, hair, etc! The staff is amazing and friendly! Highly reccomend!
