I just spent a relaxing and restorative mini-vacation at this gorgeous inn. My room was big, clean, and comfortable, the staff was attentive and friendly, and the secluded hot tub was hot and bubbly and available into the night! The city and mountain views from my private balcony were stunning. Dinner at the Grill was excellent, and the gift shop had a lot of cool stuff. I loved the many original artworks and historic photos of the Hacienda in the old days. An all-around great experience.

Stayed here in February with our 3 kids ages 9, 7, and 5. We got the Sonoran suite -- 1 king bed, a foldout queen couch, and a rollaway bed for all 5 of us. The suite has two bathrooms each with a shower and one of them had a jacuzzi tub too which the littles loved. The master bathroom also had two sinks which was a nice touch. Really nice room with plenty of space for everyone to have a bit of privacy. Also plenty of closet and dresser space for our stuff! The mini fridge was great and the large table with chairs allowed us to have a simple breakfast (yogurt, cereal etc) and not have to eat out. This is a favorite property of mine in Tucson. It's so beautiful and even the lower-end rooms are spacious & comfortable. Since it is a historic property you can really feel the history but in a cherished and timeless way that is cozy and lovely. Even if you just stop by the restaurant or bar for a quick drink, it's a great place to gather! One of the best in Tucson & their staff are always top notch. I recommend this location whenever I can.

We had a great stay at Hacienda del Sol! We loved our room (Sonoran King) and the view out to nature. Initially we were a little annoyed that it looked out onto a golf course (not mentioned), which we were specifically looking to avoid and is the reason we booked this hotel and not a golf-centric resort, but ultimately it was quiet and fine. The room was spacious and comfortable and clean. Housekeeping did a great job. The grounds are lovely. The restaurants are okay… Terraza’s interior may need a little attention. I wish there were easier/quicker options for breakfast or light bites - more like a cafe than a restaurant (something quick before heading out for a hike or something light after that but not spoiling dinner, or somewhere to get a coffee/smoothie midday).
