Grove City Motel

Beautiful little motel quite area close to the beach. Rooms are very nice and clean. Great price and friendly staff .

Walking in was positive as the kitchen was recently redone & has new appliances and granite countertops, however....this is what was in the kitchen: 1 old pot, 1 plastic “souvenir” glass, cups, some silverware, a few plates, 1 bowl. There were no baking sheets/dishes, no pans, no mixing bowls, one couldn’t cook even if you wanted to cook. There was not a broom or dustpan. There is absolutely no water pressure in the shower but there was mold. It is not quiet here; perhaps at one time but with a 5-lane road right out front, there is a lot of traffic noise. There are nice “gardens” but the paths are littered with leaves & branches; there is a bird bath that hasn’t seen water in eons. My wife and I recently stayed at Grove City Motel in Placida, FL and we had a good experience. The staff is friendly and extremely accommodating. We weren't able to make it to check in until after the office was closed, but they went out of their way to make sure we'd be able to get in hassle free. The room was big, clean and has a good layout. The rooms could use a little updating and a tv in the bedroom, but if you're planning on going to the beach or out on the boat you probably won't be in the room much anyway. AC works very well and the pool is nice. Overall, I definitely recommend giving them a try!

Hotel is very cute for a little getaway . The rooms have full kitchens and a pull out sofa . I came here with my daughter because it's close to the beaches. It is older but comfortable and clean . We did not have any issues with bugs. My daughter loves the pool area and we saw big iguanas outside . That was cool . I would book here again .
