Beach Shack of Manasota Key

My husband and I loved this vacation rental. It was beautiful, really clean and just a short walk to the beach. Its all the little things that also made it special. Snacks, a few drinks, a cooler, an ice pack and beach items. We extended our stay and our text was answered promptly. Thank you we had a great stay.

Loved our time staying in the Flamingo at Beach Shack. The location is awesome, the beach is across the street and the bars and restaurants are just a short walk away. It is well appointed, super clean, comfy and the outdoor shower was a fun extra! The hosts are friendly and helpful. We highly recommend and it’s a steal of a deal!! Will be back for sure!! Wow!!! We have stayed at several VRBO rentals, some were OK and some were terrible. What a welcome relief to finally rent an outstanding place. You could say that Beach Shack of Manasota Key is the best possible place to stay. Location is only a block from the beach, close to nice restaurants, and clean. The rental was sparkling clean and the owners, Heather and Rod, have provided so many extras like snacks, beverages, kayaks, bicycles, standup paddle boards, grille, etc., just too many things to mention. They also provided helpful hints for places to eat, beaches, things to do and even provided us with a scoop for helping find shark teeth. We spent a week in Manasota Key and my wife said this has been her favorite vacation. It's very low-key no pun intended, and we love having the bikes and kayaks available so we don't have to hull them down from Ohio. We saw Dolphins, Bald Eagles and Sharks, did some Snorkeling on the south tip of the Island, spent a few evenings at the Tiki Bar. The water is so clear. The hosts Heather and Rod are very thoughtful in how they have outfitted the rental. We love it and will definitely be back.
