Grouse Mountain Lodge

We recently stayed at Grouse Mountain Lodge again after discovering it earlier this year. It’s a nice quiet location off the busier roads and on a golf course. The check in both times was smooth because of the excellent women at the front counter and especially Jen! Our King Size bed/room with a giant screen HD television was perfect for watching the World Series. The restaurant and the bar are well stocked and tasty. Fire pits were turned on on the patio on the late season 63 degree day and cool October evenings and the seating was comfortable. Highly recommended even if you’re not a golfer….. like us!

We stayed here for Christmas and it was peak winter wonderland vibes. It has a shuttle to the ski hill which was super convenient. The lobby was super cute and it was great to see people hanging out in the lobby by the fire and outside on the heated porch. It felt like a 90s hallmark movie. We went cross country skiing at the Nordic Center right across the street (only a 2 minute walk). The staff was super friendly and accommodated all our needs. The outdoor hot tub was a bonus. We have stayed here in the summer and winter and they are both great.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The courtesy bus into town greatly assisted us with the timing as well as not needing to find a car park. There was a bit of construction work, unavoidable and not announced prior to arrival. A minor issue.

I come to Whitefish twice a year and pretty much always stay here as it has been the best experience. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Staff is friendly. Very dog friendly - no pet fees and they will put you in easy access to an exit if you let them know in advance. I look forward to returning in October.

Our experience at this hotel was not family friendly. We stayed here for three nights while in town for our kids ski races. Every night there was loud partying and fighting until the early morning hours. Luckily our kids slept through it all and we didn’t have to explain to them what all of the inappropriate sounds were. The walls are very thin. I would consider looking somewhere else if you want sleep and a healthier environment. Hopefully it isn’t always like this and we were there on the wrong weekend. It was really disappointing.
