This campground is one of our favorites. It’s quiet and secluded enough from any towns. This campsite has beautiful views and hiking trails on Goose Lake. The best part was the cows all around. They are fun to watch! We do believe we had a bear visit us one night in camp, so always make sure you’re packing away food at night. Definitely recommend for a more secluded and relaxed campsite.

We loved camping here when my kids were young in the mid 2000’s. So many great memories! We loved it because the campgrounds were so beautiful and all the services were so well maintained. I brought my family back for the first time as adults and it was absolutely perfect! The lake was lower than I remember but it was also later in the season than we would normally go back in the day. Our camp host was absolutely amazing! I love that it’s not a hugely popular spot. It will always feel like a little hidden gem for those that just want to get away and enjoy nature and family time. The lake is just big enough to float/kayak/paddleboard. Beautiful trails and well kept camping spots. The road up is definitely a bit rough with the washboard situation but totally worth it for a few days in paradi

Very remote, but there's a lot of great campgrounds in the area. We stayed away from paid campgrounds and continued into dispersed free camping by the lake. The lake is marshy and has lots of cow dung, but it's fine for kayaking or paddle boarding. Our campsite was by a creek that led into the lake. Plus, a herd of cows came by our tent. We woke up in the morning to a couple of them munching on some grass nearby. Really cool experience.

Great spot. Be advised, 6.5 mile dirt/gravel/washboard road in. At night DONT miss the quick right turn into the campground just past the creek and cattle bridge. Google Maps will tell you there is another entrance, there is not! No fun backing a trailer in the dark! We were here mid week, all by ourselves for a day and the just a couple of other campers. Host is super nice! Pro tip, there is a snow sports parking area (great Mtn bike trails)before heading up or the ski resort to pull off and sleep if your coming very late and this is your first time up. Most sites are good, next time if it’s dark we will spend the night at the boat ramp as you will most likely need to do some leveling on an a trailer.

Awesome place to camp! I stayed at the north end of the lake and absolutely loved it. Quiet, and very dark at night with very little light pollution. My little car made it through the unpaved road just fine. Will absolutely be staying here again!
