Green Island Inn

Ok came to Ft Lauderdale for a conference, booked late and hotels were sold out or outrageous but heard from drivers that is kind par for course during the busy season. Found this place combing through listings that were affordable. Came on a weekend, after hours and left early every AM so never met anyone in the office. Did everything online and it all worked out. Strange exterior but beautiful interiors. Comfortable room with kitchenette and nice bed, great shower area. Quiet. Maid service which I'm amazed available. Old school keys. Great value.

Stayed here at the beginning of December for 12 nights, nice new refurbished rooms completed to an excellent standard. This is our 4th stay at the Green Island great service provided by Agnes the Hotel Manager and brilliant house keeping by Richie. They certainly are a great friendly Team. Quaint little boutique hotel in a fantastic location away from crowds and noise. The grounds are charming and the rooms are beautifully updated. With a full kitchen, a high bed with impossibly comfortable pillows, and a spotless bathroom, it was the absolute perfect stay. Hugely recommend!

Amazing little inn with beautiful gardens and outdoor sitting areas. The pool was really nice and surrounded by palm trees and plants. There were outdoor areas for eating and hanging out. Walking distance to the beach and some good restaurants. 1000% recommend.

This is based purely on how they treated a stranger who made a booking mistake. I got too quick with the clicks when booking and had to cancel immediately. I called them up and the lady was very nice, the booking people (something like superb.com) were not. The GII kept in touch and when she found out that I could not get in touch with the superb.com people, she took it upon herself to fight them over two days to get my money back from the booking. If this is how they treat a stranger over the internet, the customer service in person must be out of this world! (Just book with them for ease! steer clear of the other..)
