The photos of the rooms are deceiving. We stayed here with our family and were disappointed with the overall condition. The building is quite old, and the furniture and space show significant wear and tear. The in-room AC unit was very loud and outdated, making it hard to relax. While the bathrooms seem to have been somewhat renovated, the room itself had a strong, unpleasant smell that didn’t go away. There’s no housekeeping service unless you stay for more than three days—you’re expected to bring your own used towels to the lobby to exchange for clean ones. Parking is also very limited. Be aware that they offer free glasses in exchange for good reviews, which may explain the higher ratings. The view is nice, but overall, the experience did not meet expectations. I traveled from Michigan to Myrtl Beach, South Carolina 16 hours drive and arrived at the Grand Beach Resort at 2:30 a.m., and the woman who worked to check the hotel reservation was friendly and very nice if I'm not mistaken, her name is Shamika. She is sweet and humble. Her service to welcome guests deserves a thumbs up. we got a room with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, and a small kitchen, complete with a refrigerator, 2 TVs. the place was clean and fragrant and directly facing the stunning view of the Atlantic Ocean. My family and I really enjoyed it and this place gave a beautiful impression. and the security there was very friendly and helpful. Myrtle Beach is a beautiful place and a must visit and don't forget to stay at the Grand Beach Resort 🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶

I was skeptical from the reviews but me and my family had a pleasant stay here. We had the 2 bed room suite. The room was fairly cleaned, the front desk was very polite and the view was amazing. They have an onsite restaurant and pool side bar, you can walk right across to the beach. My only complaint is I wish they had a table and chairs in the room for the kids to eat at but we made do! The room was surprisingly spacious. Over all very good for our first stay at Myrtle beach.

I should have listened to the other reviews. This hotel is outdated and desperately needs maintenance! While my room at surface level looked clean, you could see where damaged walls were just painted over, the door didn’t lock properly and the curtains had (burn) holes in them. I did not feel safe here. The elevators took a long time and also needed maintenance. I was told by someone (I assume worked for the hotel because of their uniform) that there was a tampon in the pool, therefore I did not use any of the amenities. There was a nice ocean view, but again low quality, the balcony was rusted and chipping paint(and people smoking in the outdoor areas and not cigarettes). I did not have any noise issues. This hotel is severely overpriced for its low quality.

MUST READ BEFORE BOOKING: First of all- all of the great reviews you are reading are fake. They offer free sunglasses if you give them 5 stars. Pictures are deceiving, the place is dirty. There was blood in the shower, a used pull up under the pull out bed, dirty sheets in the drawer, hair clumps and sand on the floor. Housekeeping doesn’t come up and clean daily. You have to bring dirty towels to the front desk for an exchange and they will not give you anything extra. When my son had an accident on the bed, they wouldn’t give me sheets because “it wasn’t Wednesday”. So that was fun. Going down often for trash bags and toilet paper is suboptimal, especially when you’re staying at a place that isn’t cheap. Front desk never answers the phone and they give you no instructions for their ru
