Grand Smokies Resort Lodge

This hotel isn't half as bad as some of the reviews say. Their experience could have been different from mine. But the staff was friendly and welcoming. The pool was maintained. The room we had was clean and smelled clean. The bed was comfortable. The jets in the whirlpool tub wasn't as strong as I'd expected, but that's a minor detail. They had a rowing machine and an air dynamic bike. Overall experience was excellent! Will definitely book again!!

Nice king room with large jetted tub with balcony was sweet room was clean and bed was comfortable. Would stay again. And room was quite affordable

Positive: Location and free breakfast was a perk, staff helpful as possible in this scenario Negative: Dirty dirty dirty. mildew on the bathroom floor. nasty hairball/dustbunny in the kitchen next to the fridge. Toilet didn't flush (they fixed it). Worst part was when we pulled the Bedspread back it was soiled. Perhaps blood, chocolate, or fecal matter?

We booked for two nights and could not check into our room till 6pm. They said they were running behind, no worries, we went to eat a little early. When we finally got in our room we received a room with no view, wasn't a big deal for day one but was planning on staying in the room more for day two and requested a room move at noon on day two. I thought this was plenty early enough since check in was at 3, or maybe 6, as in our case. We were told that they couldn't move us because they were fully booked. Person was just matter of fact about it and seemed to not care. So I asked if we could check out, there are plenty of hotels around. I was told checkout was at 11 and if we check out we would not get a refund. It takes effort to be this bad at customer service, this isn't just lack of pra

The room was very clean. The bed was so comfortable. That Jacuzzi tub was huge! Even this 60 yr old had to try the slide at the heated pool. It was so much fun. And we got a voucher to eat buffet breakfast at the restaurant right at the Resort. That was really good food. I will be using them again when I come back for a visit . Should give a 5 star, but I never give 5 to anyone.
