Grand Forks Inn

When we first got into our room it was quite cold, the room heater/AC unit really worked well heating the room up quickly. Decor uninspiring, but the beds were comfortable as were the pillows. Shower nice and hot. The breakfast was the most minimal with the cheapest bread. In fairness there was so yougurt and fruits. Coffee and some boiled eggs were also available. For me not that inviting. I came for the sleep and got a good one.

I don't usually stay in motels, but I was very satisfied with the rooms, staff and overall experience. It's a fairly well maintained motel; not perfect but clean and comfortable. The staff at reception at check-in and check-out were really friendly and helpful. The Continental breakfast included in the cost was enough to ensure we could carry with our travels feeling content.

Will never, ever recommend this hotel. We had booked a room on Tuesday evening for Wednesday evening. Shortly after booking ( a few hours) I took a tumble and broke my ribs. Being in extreme pain, we were unable to continue our road trip. My husband called the hotel first thing in the morning to explain what happened and to cancel our reservation and they had zero compassion. Not only was there zero compassion they were very rude. It was extremely difficult for my husband to even communicate at all as their English was very poor. This hotel having zero compassion is not only terribly heartless but once again puts the all mighty dollar high above humanity. I hope the $200 you charged us makes you feel good about yourself. Nasty nasty people. !!! 🤬

So clean and nice. Pool is perfect. This was a last minute stop for is and they were very accommodating. Price was great...but it was the cleanliness that really stood out. That and the room were stylish and actually nice.

We really enjoyed this hotel. The cleaning staff and the desk clerks were great. The continental breakfast is sufficient, although, I like hot options. Ie. Pancake or waffle makers and bacon.
