Grand Canyon Motel Resort & Campground

We stayed at Grand Canyon Motel and resort Campground in Wellsboro for two nights and had a pleasant experience. The room was clean and had everything we needed TV, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, AC, heater, and an attached bathroom. It stayed nice and warm during our stay. The place was quiet and peaceful, and there’s even a bar and restaurant on-site, which was super convenient. Overall, a good and comfortable stay great spot if you’re visiting the PA Grand Canyon area!

PROS: clean linens & towels. Bathroom appears cleaned [no hair/mold spotted]. Onsite restaurant with fair menu & good bar, John was cordial at check-in & he cooked/served great burgers. John went the extra-mile to cut up a hot-dog that we ordered for our dog’s dinner. Coffee machine & TV in room. PET-FRIENDLY. Beautiful hanging flower baskets on porch. Motel is very close to PA’s Grand Canyon Lenard Harrison State Park Visitor Center [as you leave the motel, access PA-660-literally take a left onto PA-660, continue about 15 minutes ends at Visitor Center] that is handicapped accessible; great vistas & photo ops, has a informative Parks & Recreation officer onsite.|CONS: as other stated, there is a musty smell as you enter the room, so I brought Ozium air sanitizing spray that did help. I

We stayed in the Wagon. It was awesome! When it rains, it’s beautiful to hear, and it stays at a great temperature. The area is beautiful and has so much to see that you can just simply walk to. The sauna was also a great way to start or end any day. It’s a little piece of paradise staying here, thank you! Me and my girlfriend absolutely had the time of our lives and are coming back for seconds.

We truck-tented here and it was great! Easy location to pa Grand Canyon. Nice owner. If you’re looking for cheap accommodations and a clean bathhouse this is fine. Food at the restaurant was great too.

We stayed there with our RV this summer. The location was pleasant as a wonderful quiet place. It was easy to get in with our RV and larger RVs would fit in nicely too. The bar/ restaurant had good food and staff was friendly. The only downside to this campground is that it isn't necessarily within walking distance, so if staying there plan a way to get around. I think bikes may have been a nice addition. The wifi also worked really well, which was good for us because we didn't have much cell service. Our stay was wonderful and I would highly recommend!
