Golden West Motel

The room is cozy and the manager was very helpful. I appreciated that I was able to communicate very well with her prior to my arrival. The room was clean and warm, especially which was important at night, during our stay. There is no microwave or fridge and this was not an inconvenience during our stay. I like the fact that the property is close to restaurants and a laundry.

For a vacation town, prices were reasonable. Very close to Yellowstone entrance, within walking distance to restaurants and shops in town. This is an older motel, but very nice and clean. Carpet had a clean smell. Staff was pleasant. There is no air conditioning (only fans), no breakfast, so I am giving it a 4 rating. Otherwise, I would give a 5. This was the second time I had stayed at this motel and would stay again.

Stayed here 2 nights while at Yellowstone. Room is small but it was super clean and cozy. Recently updated bathroom, clean sheets and a cup of coffee in the morning is really nothing much else you can ask for in this town. Rates are probably the best ones in town. Truly, can't beat the price and a level of comfort for $90/ night. Will def. stay here again.

I know there are no frills here as some have said, but the otherwise safety and comfort made my family feel at home during a long tiresome trek. Very reasonable for the area, otherwise we would have had to travel even longer before eating and putting our heads down. My grandson was thrilled to have a separate room in the small suite we had. Lifted his spirits, hence all of our spirits. Owners were very nice and helpful! I would totally go back when visiting Yellowstone in the future!

I went out with a friend to West Yellowstone for a girls trip and we stayed here our first few nights and have a blast. The room was nice, clean and cozy. Service was great the rooms were kept clean everyday if you wanted or just fresh towels. Motel is getting nice updates to each room, great place to stay.
