One of the few state sights where you can stay in a Yurt. Glendalough has two yurts that are right on the water with their own water access via a small dock. They are also right off a paved bike path. They are not centrally located in the park so you can either boat, bike, or hike to reach them.
A beautiful, quiet place, clean. Went to a wedding there,people were swimming and biking but never disturbed the wedding guests. You can rent canoes, bikes are 35 dollars a hour cheaper if by the day or week.
Awesome adventure! We loved staying in the yurt.
