Chase's Ethel Beach Resort

I absolutely love this place! We had cabins 6 and 7, they were clean, roomy and well maintained. A true cabin right on the lake. Step out your door and you’re on the beach. Great kayaks for kids and adults. The water was warm and clean, tons of fishing off the dock, little kids had a blast catching a bunch of fish! The gigantic sandy beach across the lake was an easy SUP or Kayak ride, the lake is on the smaller size, so it’s like glass all day long! Staff is great not hovering but available for all needs ! Thank you for an amazing week long family vacation, memories for a lifetime!

This resort is incredibly well run Sparky and Lisa attended to every detail the cabins are extremely clean and right on the water it can’t get much better than that. Ethel Lake is beautiful and the fishing is good especially if you like pan fish. We saw eagles almost daily and a wide range of other birds and Glendalough state park is just a couple miles away for more bird watching. Nearby Battle Lake has several good restaurants and stores

The Chase family is absolutely phenomenal! Sparky and Lisa do a wonderful job with the resort. Cabins are awesome, clean, well stocked with anything you need and the view of the lake is unbelievable! Two bald eagles, 4 small bass, one small pike and a 5lb bass, rest assured, I will be back!

Our family enjoyed a week on beautiful Ethel Lake. The Chase family is very hospitable and runs a beautiful resort. Ethel Lake is located in Ottertail County, famous for fishing and crystal-clear lakes. Ethel Lake is one of the clearest lakes in the county with amazing water clarity. The lake has a hard sand bottom, though there are weeds in places. The Chase resort maintains a large beautiful beach front with 3 docks, firepits, and large sandy beachfront for swimming. We stayed in Cabin #3, with a bedroom downstairs, and a beautiful loft. The knotty pine throughout really makes it feel like a MN vacation! If you want to rent a cabin and be able to relax on a sandy beach on a nice clear lake, this is the place for you! We love going here! We bring a fishing boat to catch perch and we bring a speed boat to take our kids tubing, wakeboarding, etc. They have small boats, paddle boats and canoes to use as well as paddle boards for rent. It is so nice to get away from the rat race of home and go here for a week to relax. There is a laundry room in case you need to wash clothes. There are docks as well as firepits on the beach. The family that owns the resort is wonderful. The cabins are clean and comfortable. Great place to stay with family and friends. The Otter Tail and Battle Lake area are nice to be near.
