Ghost Canyon Getaway

Wonderful, peaceful cabin to stay. Love the view, watching the horses grazing. Not far from all the local attractions. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Snacks are left from the owner, an added bonus, plus coffee and tea, don’t drink coffee but it was nice to see. If we’re ever out in the area again, I’ll definitely stay here again. Thanks, Mandy

I rented the one bedroom cabin and my niece and her husband rented a motel style room. I stayed for 7 nights and they stayed 5. The rooms were excellent and clean. Most importantly was the location. We were within a 30 minute drive to Mount Rushmore and the Crazy Horse Memorial. Also very close to Custer State Park. Mandy, our host was extremely helpful and cooperative. The area around us was quiet and peaceful. The views were incredible, Horseback riding was nearby. There is so much to see and many places to visit and Ghost Canyon Getaway is centrally located to it all. Planning on returning next year.

We absolutely loved, loved, loved this place! There were 8 of us, and it met all of our sleeping arrangement needs! Very welcoming, cozy, home away from home! Loved seeing the horses out the back window! We used the gas grill for dinner. We used the fireplace and it was great! The welcome card they left us, was so inviting! Everything was better than what we could have ever imagined! We are DEFINITELY going back!! We also left a few things behind and they were so AWESOME and shipped them to us within a couple days! Thank you for making this an AMAZING AND MEMORABLE experience for us all!!

First of all, the property is just beautiful. Idyllic with horses and deer roaming in the fields. We enjoyed the yard where the kids ran around, explored, and played volleyball. The room was very clean and had everything we needed and then some. You can tell that the host has put a lot of thought into making it as convenient as possible. She even brought her horse over for the kids to see. My kids slept on the sofa bed and we were very comfortable. We accidentally locked our keys in the car and had to wait for roadside assistance to come open it—I was worried we were too far in the boonies and it was Sunday, but it went fine. The property is very close to Custer State Park and Mt. Rushmore and was a great home base for sight-seeing. We would definitely stay here again!

This is one of the most beautiful log cabin stays that we have been at. Jane and Mandy took care of everything, and our cabin was perfectly located just 30 minutes from Mt. Rushmore! This was a steal and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mt. Rushmore.
