Cloud Nine Camping

I spent from May 2024 through July and then in the winter a couple of months, I even did some workcamper stuff. I recently returned in May to boondock until winter. I have the best most secluded spot I have ever had in a campground, which is perfect for me and my 2 big doggos. Matt and Hannah are absolutely wonderful people and the peacefulness here is unmatched! So many options for your stay, too!

Absolutely loved our stay in the big tents! It had so much space, the perfect fire pit view, games and a yoga mat for entertainment as well as SO MUCH MORE to offer around the property. The location is one of the best being minutes from Custer and mt Rushmore. It was easy to find and the camp host went above and beyond sharing information with us— helping show us around the space. Couldn’t recommend enough and will be back in the future!

We had some plans change and had to bring our kids and we were immediately accommodated! We were met by David who gave us a rundown and showed us where we were staying. What an amazing host! The drive is beautiful on the way there and the site is even better. I WILL be coming back and will recommend to everyone who needs a little break from everyday life!

10/10 recommend cloud nine camping! David is super friendly and welcoming. The location is secluded and tucked away within beautiful scenery! Yes there are other campers but with the way they have it laid out you still feel like you have privacy and your own space. We will absolutely be back! Also pet friendly which was a plus!

I stayed here one night with my friend and i LOVED this place. They welcomed us really friendly and had a lot of information about the activities you could do in the surroundings. We stayed at one of their glamping tents that were so cosy!! Really comfortable beds, coffee in the morning, airconditioning/heating & they had a firepit so you could make a little fire outside by buying some wood at their woodstand. 1000% recommend!! 🤍
