Gettysburg Battlefield RV Resort & Campground Pennsylvania

We absolutely love Gettysburg Battlefield Resort! From the moment we checked in, the staff made us feel like family. The campground is beautifully maintained, with spacious RV sites, clean restrooms, and plenty of room for the kids to play. The lake is peaceful for fishing and paddle boating, and the pool is the perfect way to cool off after exploring the battlefield just a few miles away. You can really tell this is a members-only resort — it feels private, quiet, and safe. We enjoyed joining in on the weekend activities and meeting other members who have been coming here for years. The location couldn’t be better — you’re close enough to all the history and attractions of downtown Gettysburg, but far enough away to enjoy a quiet campfire under the stars. Boy oh boy was this place special! My husband has always wanted to visit Gettysburg as his bucket list, and what better way to visit then to stay right where they fought. Our site was easily accessible, site numbers clear. Definitely make sure you have leveling blocks etc all sites are extremely uneven. Our site also shared a power box which I had never seen before but had 0 issues. The entire resort is extremely clean and very very nicely laid out. Huge office with almost everything you can need while camping. Everything from condiments to fire wood (no outside fire wood is allowed you will be fined if found to bring your own wood) I did see LOTS of people bring thier own wood so not sure if tgey just pay the fine or what? 🤷‍♀️ They have a gorgeous catch and release fishing 🎣 pond. Fantastic RV resort in Gettysburg, PA. Excellent choice for long term stays, amenities and accommodations. Winter ❄️ weather makes it even more appealing as well. A wonderful sheet of snow fell around Christmas time. Even better is the Christmas decorations you’ll see everywhere across the resort. To our surprise, as we ventured out after the snowfall we saw a Downy Woodpecker enjoying the suet feeders at the nearby RV neighbors feeder. Beautiful Downy Woodpeckers love suet feeders in the cold winter ❄️ weather. These woodpeckers are bold, curious, and adaptable to their surroundings. Hope you enjoy these photos!

We stayed here the last 3 months. Staff is awesome. Especially Carly and Michelle. They couldn't be sweeter to deal with. We've been members since 2011 and always had a great experience. Thanks again.

This was our third time (year) here and found it much better than last year. The employees we talked to were like a team trying their best to win our hearts. That’s good management! The grounds had several pleasant improvements over last year. The pool was awesome for adults and kids. Early morning swimming for adults 10-11 AM with an adult monitor was great. The pool was remodeled and gorgeous due to repairs needed. Children were playing in the pool, playing basketball or on the playground equipment. Grass was trimmed with mowing everyday while we were camping there. We checked out the restrooms and showers and found them extremely clean. I look for faults because of my previous job but couldn’t find enough to discourage our family from coming back next year and having a delightful time.
