Gazebo Inn Oceanfront

O.k. Soooo... I have stayed at other oceanfront hotels at Myrtle Beach. I have stayed at a lot of other ocean front hotels in other places too. Was this worth the $50ish that I paid. Yeah, probably. No more though. The walls were paper thin. We had a connecting door that barely closed and in the morning it sounded like I had people walking through our room. Signs all over, smoke free hotel. My floor reaked of weed. Watch the video. So, that was a put off. I don't expect it to be the Ritz. If you read my other reviews, I am pretty lenient on maintanence issues. There were several and other than the shower head dribbling out, no real issues. It's convenient though. Right at the beach. Overall it was a great weekend. Parking was very bad.

The view is gorgeous. The woman at the front desk friendly and professional. The hotel an absolute dump. I have no idea how it got good reviews and I am doing this review so no one else gets fooled the way I did. This is the only place I’ve stayed where I did not feel safe. The place is in a state of disrepair and is dirty. Saw a bug on my pillow last night. Do not stay here unless you are absolutely desperate for a room and even then your car may look like a more appealing place to sleep.

Blondie at the front desk (can't remember her name) & the view were lovely. The room & inn itself was another story and that story gives horror/mystery/trap house vibes. I don't know why this place has a 6+ rating because this was not an ideal place to stay minus the view, beach proximity and price but I got what I paid for I guess. I wouldn't stay here again unless someone paid me a lot of money to. Stay here at your own risk because phew! There's mold, destroyed and unrepaired doors caused by salt, thin walls, room was fairly unclean and not fully wiped down. I had to clean the bathroom and I don't go on vacation to clean up.
