Gathering Place Resort & Lodge

Wonderful place to stay and unwind. Beautiful resort with great owners on site. First class RV Resort. Very quiet, country setting in the green hills of Wisconsin. The RV sites are large and well spaced with plenty of distance from other sites. The local small towns are fun to visit, with scenic drives, cheese & butcher shops, shopping and many lakes.

What a wonderful resort! The owners, Deanna and Mike are very friendly and helpful. We rented 2 cabins for a family vacation. The cabins were clean and well stocked and easily within walking distance. Both had a very nice view of the lake. It was nice that the air conditioning was already on and the cabins cooled down for when we arrived. |We also rented a pontoon boat and that was really fun and very reasonably priced. Deanna did a detailed explanation of the boat and directed us to the best spots on the lake. The lake map was appreciated! The property is well maintained and has some nice walking trails. I appreciated the security of the gate and the keypads to lock the cabin. Very quiet location, near town with grocery stores, etc.

What an amazing stay! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed. The resort and lodge is beautiful—our room was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The owners went above and beyond with their warm, attentive service. The location couldn’t be better, with the lake just steps away. We loved spending time by the water—it made the whole experience even more peaceful and memorable. I honestly didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

Our extended family of nine stayed for a week at the Gathering Place for the fifth year. I can't say enough about how great the resort and Mike and Deanna are as owners. They are constantly making improvements every year to make it an amazing destination. They have a pontoon which the whole family used one day and a fishing boat with trolling motor to use as well. Great chain of lackes to fish as we caught almost every species and a few great large mouth bass. If you go during the summer, it's live music on Tuesdays with a great menu and bar to enjoy the event. We already booked for next year. We even swam in the sand bottom lake they built but had just as much fun in the clean lake too. Golfing at Turtleback just 15 miles away. Great restaurants within 10 minutes. (Loved Birch L

The Gathering Place Resort is a great lake vacation spot. The cabin we stayed in was comfortable and well supplied for our stay. There were chairs and lounge chairs for sitting by the lake and fire pit. We were next to the swimming area and a dock. Readily available were kayaks and walking trails. It all made for a relaxing easy time. |We had and needed little interaction with the owners but when we did they were always friendly and helpful.|A big bonus during our stay was “Tuesday on the Porch“. It is a weekly show with good live music and tasty dinners. We had a fun evening sitting outside eating, relaxing and dancing. |One note, they ask that you arrive between 4 and 6.
