Very disappointing experience over the Fourth of July weekend. Visited this hotel with our two adult sons and rented the largest room on the property, the efficiency suite. We were under the impression that it had two queen size beds and a pullout sleeper sofa. The pullout sleeper sofa was uneven and uncomfortable for one person to sleep on so we ended up sleeping on the two queen beds. One of the queen beds was delivered with stains all over the sheets. It was clear that the bed was used, and the sheets had not been changed before we were given the room. The breakfast experience was all microwaved food. They had made an effort to put bacon, sausage, eggs, and potatoes on the table. However, everything was microwaved and really un appealing and in some cases uneditable. Overall a very disa

A standard motel in good maintenance. You'll need to walk across the parking lot to the hot tub, so be prepared in cold weather. The Mojo's restaurant one block away has EV chargers. We used a 6 kW one overnight and I walked over to get the car the next morning. That made this hotel's location more convenient. The hotel WiFi was serviceable, better than many hotels.

Hotel is very nice and clean. All of the staff members we met were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was very good, a lot of choices - hot and cold. Room was nice, perhaps recently renovated. Beds are small though. Overall, loved it

If you're looking for an awesome place to stay in Salida, look no further. Gateway Inn and Suites is like "home away from home". They are perfectly located within 5 to 10 minutes from restaurants, grocery stores, boutiques, charming shops, art galleries, a farmers market, outdoor recreation and even an old fashion soda fountain. Make sure to have your camera ready for the deer grazing on front lawns. The front desk agents were fantastic and so helpful in pointing my family and I in the right direction for anything we needed. The room was spacious, comfy, clean and priced very reasonably with easy access to parking. They had a delicious full breakfast which included waffles, eggs, potatoes, sausage links and patties, bacon, oatmeal, yogart, pastries and juice. Special thanks to Ben and Morg
